BACKGROUND
Las Vegas's "Sphere" launched in Fall 2023 as a premier entertainment venue under the Madison Square Garden family of companies. Sphere Entertainment is focused on incorporating the elements of technological advancement and forward-thinking innovation into the realm of entertainment, live music, and performance art.

PROBLEM
As Sphere Entertainment was preparing for the launch of its Las Vegas venue, how could it work to amplify its digital presence by establishing a consistent, iconic, and distinctly “Sphere” brand theme to connect with more consumers and build traction across digital media platforms?

PROCESS
Through the design works displayed above, I was able to help establish and elevate aspects of Sphere’s digital presence by preparing and re-branding digital, social, and print-based content for the launch of the venue.
These quality marketing and design assets helped Sphere to fully establish its branding across various types of mediums and encompass a more unified sense of brand identity as well. Cool color tones such as monochromatic blues and dark grey/black backgrounds are now a quintessential design theme across all of Sphere's design materials. Utilizing cool visual tones in these design assets leverages color psychology to help visually convey the brand's themes of innovation, futurism, and technological advancement.

3D DIGITAL CONCEPT ART
In addition to the digital/social and print content that I was able to create for Sphere, I was able to create 3D concept art for the "Exosphere" (Sphere exterior LED visuals) library of visuals as well.
The process for the first Exosphere visual I created can be exemplified in 3 stages:
Stage 1: Below (left) is the pre-liminal flat concept artwork created in Illustrator for the Exosphere.
Stage 2: Below (right) is the concept artwork from Stage 1 developed into a 3D rendering on Adobe Photoshop.
In addition to the digital/social and print content that I was able to create for Sphere, I was able to create 3D concept art for the "Exosphere" (Sphere exterior LED visuals) library of visuals as well.

FINAL RESULT
This is the final result of the 3D artwork from Photoshop being optimized for physical and dimensional practicality in the local Sphere Burbank/LA testing facility. I was able to work under the mentorship of senior art directors to optimize the rendering to display at a physical capacity on the LED spherical display.
This 3D Exosphere visual has been added to the concept art library, serving as inspiration for future projects and visuals that may continue to be developed for Sphere in Las Vegas.
